I'm a writer. I love to write. I am a writer in the fact I have written since I was a kid. I can't not write. My head has always been filled with stories and ideas and images.Writing is my hold on sanity some days. That said I make absolutely no claims to the quality of my writing. I do not believe that I'm 'gods gift' or any manure like that. The only thing I've ever had published was a poem that was attached to my neices obituary. I will warn you I go through spells where grammar and spelling seem to escape me--when what's in my head and what I 'see' when I read through isn't exactly what's written there. There are physical/medical reasons for this. I try and I have fun writing. I can't not write. And I have found inflicting my warped imagination on others occasionally fun and some seem to enjoy it.


This particular journal will be predominantly slash. RPS slash at that, though not all RPS I'm sure. I write fanfic, entirely fictional characters, under another name. The reason for this journal and a separate pen name is to keep a further distance between my fanfic and my 'recognized' pen name and real life. *note: recognized as in the fact that I have used that name in fandom for several years and have posted fic under that name I am *not* a 'big name', I am not claiming to have an instantly recognized pen name. I piddle around the edges, write my stories and wander off saying very little of anything with that name as well.

My other pen name has been around about four years or so now, I've been around fandom maybe a couple years longer than that reading and lurking. I don't like bullshit, and I don't like drama and games which is why this is being stated right up front. And God knows after five closer to six years around the edges of assorted fandoms I've seen enough crazed wank that just leaves me baffled and shaking my head. This name and this journal is merely for writing and to explore different things and stretch my writing. I am only saying that yes, I also write under another name--not in RPS-- to spare myself the drama and the wankage if the two pen names are ever connected. (Murphy and his law like me *a lot* so if I didn't flat out state this I'd likely have the two names connected and a whole lot of 'wtf bitch' directed at me. I don't want that. I just want to try to stretch my writing without being self-concious or harangued about it for whatever reason. And RL comes into connection to an extent with my 'other name'.)

I have a real life, one with enough stress and drama that I really would rather not deal with it in fandom. I am a smart ass and can at times be politically incorrect, I have a bit of a redneck streak that crops up now and again when faced with pretentious stupidity. I play nicely with others when I play. Mostly I write, post and then get sucked away back to the insanity that is real life with a husband, children, pets, massive extended family and heaven help me--in laws. (Again I reiterate I have enough real life drama I avoid it in fandom. The 'secret identity' is not for drama it is for sanity. And to experiment with my writing without those that read my other fic bombarding me with 'WTF!!! Why are you writing this? Write....' because it is a departure from my other fannish forays to an extent)

I read when I get the chance, comment rarely. Hours in a day and all that. I do try to make a point of commenting at least once on chapter fic I read but regular commenting is not likely out of me. I do try to respond (and eventually do respond) to comments. I also occasionally play with graphics so icons, banners, and what not with pretty boys on them are likely to show up now and again though not with any predictable regularity.

It is almost completely improbable that you will find anything but fiction/fiction related musings, the random graphics post and perhaps a rare picspam if something particularly pretty catches my eye in this journal. Never say never but it would have to be something world-scale dramatic or major PSA type announcement to really show up here.
